Experience the Byron Bay Farmers Markets

Updated: Apr 21, 2023

A must do when holidaying in Byron Bay is a visit to the Farmers Market. The markets are held every Thursday morning from 7-11am at the Butler Street Reserve or Saturdays 7-11am in Bangalow.

If you want fresh organic produce this is the place to shop. There are a selection of locally grown fruits and vegetables, along with freshly baked breads, cakes and pastries. Try these with Bangalow coffee or freshly squeezed jungle juice.

There are conserves, nut butters and cheeses to choose from in addition to local pasture raised meat and fresh seafood.

There are also a variety of freshly picked flowers to brighten up your day.

Take your time to wander around and appreciate the colours and flavours. You won’t be able to leave without tasting and purchasing an array of delicious local foods.

The local farmers love a chat and are always eager to talk about their produce. It’s such a treat to meet the people who grow the food.
